Jan 24, 2008 · Undergraduate maths lecture notes (Uni of Cambridge) Here are the lecture notes corresponding to the undergraduate maths degree that I took at the University of Cambridge from 2014-17. They were typed up by a student in my year during the lectures, and to be honest most of the time I found it easier to learn from these than the actual lectures.

- Texts: The course text is Classical Dynamics of Particles and Systems, 5th ed. by Stephen Thornton and Jerry Marion, (Thomson-Brooks/Cole, Belmont, 2004). This text has been adopted because it is a comprehensive, intermediate-level text on mechanics it was used in the Sprng semester mechanics course (Phys. 262).

Advanced Dynamics is a broad and detailed description of the analytical tools of dynamics as used in mechanical and aerospace engineering. The strengths and weaknesses of various approaches are discussed, and particular emphasis is placed on learning through problem solving.
